Forever is Now - 2nd Edition

Forever Is Now is an international art exhibition that both reflects the profound, global influence of ancient Egypt and draws on the ongoing inclusiveness of contemporary cultural practices.

The exhibition represents a merging of ancient heritage and contemporary art at the oldest and last remaining of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which today survives as a UNESCO world heritage site.

Using the power of AR, we reimagined the best manifestation of a tour guide that embodies the past and the future.

​

The exhibition will have 12 pieces around the grounds of the Pyramids, with Bastet, the Ancient Egyptian cat as a virtual guide around the exhibition grounds. By scanning a QR code, Bastet appears via an instagram AR filter, and tells the story behind every sculpture. The information is displayed in both English and Arabic, and a site map guides you from one sculpture to the next.
